Instant
gratification isn’t my style
There is
no pleasure unless it was earned
I prefer
to stop and smell the roses
Can’t
play with fire with out getting burned
I have
struggled, overcame, and achieved
I have
come out from the belly of the beast
To be the
person I am today
It was a
battle to say the least
The
tingling in my stomach
As
the anticipation builds inside
I’ll
take my time going through this world
The
joyful youth in me has not died
Patience
and compromise became my allies
The
rush of this fast paced world my only foe
Let
this moment linger on forever
Let
its delight be all I know
